Job Description
Position: Brand Manager
Purpose:
- To contribute to and influence the development of the brand image and performance.
- To manage the overall trading and marketing’s Brand against the agreed KPIs.
Accountabilities and responsibilities:
Business lead of the Brand Marketing and Merchandise Management & Planning.
Communicate and influence all the shared service activities to support Brand’s requirements i.e. Supply Chain, Finance, IT, Legal, HR.
Ensure that the Brand is being consistently operated within the guidelines set out in the Brand’s Operations Manual.
Ensure all KPI’s are achieved through maximizing Sales & Profit whilst minimizing Stocks, markdowns, terminal levels in order to exceed planned profit.
Provide accurate sales forecast to identify stock requirements.
Manage in-season Open-to-Buy down to season/category level
Manage pricing, promotional and clearance markdown activity within budgeted levels.
Manage the critical path form order signing to in store to ensure the product is in the store when planned.
Manage and buy stock mix of fashion vs basics, ensuring good availability on key volume basics.
Work alongside optimization to ensure optimum stock level in store.
Identifies market and key fashion trends to maintain a detailed understanding of the required product area.
Regularly carries out store, competitors and supplier visits.
Management:
Manage and develop an assertive, dynamic culture within the team, displaying strong management skills to enable achievement of the business goals.
To coach, motivate and develop the office and store team.
Good teamwork’s skills, a willingness to participate as full company team.
Demonstrate strong communication skills, being able to communicate effectively with all levels of the business inclusive company and Brand’s senior management.
To demonstrate a flair for generating and recognizing imaginative, innovate ideas and solutions which have commercial gain.
Be able to display a confident and professional style at all the times, taking appropriate actions to influence the achievement of the business goals.
