                Position Summary
                Managing a full spectrum of accounting functions and oversee AP, AR, Retail Back Office and GL team.  
The candidate must also be able to provide advice on all accounting related matters to the Finance & Admin Director – Thailand
   
             
             
    
        
                                                Job Description
                    - Responsible for
     month-end close and year-end close processes
 
- Prepare and
     review monthly management and financial reports in compliance with group
     finance operating guideline
 
- Prepare and
     review monthly balance sheet reconciliations
 
- Mentoring AP, AR, Retail Back Office, and
     GL staff for daily operation and development
 
- Highlight
     significant true up of accruals and provisions
 
- Prepare
     statutory accounts in compliance and local reporting standards
 
- Prepare Income
     Tax provision and yearly Income Tax Return information package
 
- Ensure that
     working papers, schedules, correspondences and other documentation meet
     quality assurance tests and are in line with company’s best practices
 
- Reviewed and
     assessed internal control procedures and accounting treatments to ensure
     compliance with accounting standards
 
- Provide advice
     on accounting treatments for business initiatives upon request
 
- Provide support
     and respond to queries and requests from business on a timely basis
 
- Provide training
     Buyer for PO creation / Vendor Maintenance. Induction training for new staff
     / new boutique for Finance process
 
- Liaise with
     internal and external auditors as well as external parties as required
 
- Liaise with
     group treasury and bank of cash flow forecast and all treasury matters and
     assist in develop mechanisms to optimize cash flow
 
Qualifications
                    - Must have a strong
     background in Accountancy: Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy or a professional
     accounting qualification (CPA and/or CPD).
 
- Must be
     able to read, write, and speak the Thai language
 
- Having a good
     understanding of local tax regulations and tax authorities will be an
     advantage
 
- Mature, a sense
     of commitment, initiative, good communication skills, and independent
 
- Able to handle matrix
     environment with multiple stakeholders
 
- Knowledge of SAP
     would be an added advantage.
